When Muslims start something, they should say:
Bis-millaahir-Rahmani-r-Rahim
Translation: In the Name of Allah, Most Merciful, Most Kind.
بِسْمِ اَللّٰهِ اَلرَّحْمٰنِ اَلرَّحِيم
‘As-salaamu alai-kum
Translation: Peace be with you.
اَلسَّلَامًُ عَلَيْكُمْ
Wa-alai-kumu-s-salaamu
وَ عَلَيْكُمُ السَّلَامُ
‘Al-hamdu li-Llaahi-l-Ladhi ‘Ahyaa-naa ba’da maa amaatana wa- ilaihi-n-nushur
Translation: praise be to Allah, He Who revived us to life after giving us death, and unto Him we shall return.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَ إِلَيْهِ النُّشُور
‘Asbah-naa wa ‘asbaha-l mulku li-Llaahi Rabbi-l-‘Aalamin
Translation: we enter upon the morning, and so does the creation of Allah, the Lord of the Worlds.
أَصْبَحْنَا وَ أَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ
Bis-millahi. Allahumma inni ‘a’udhu bi-ka minal-khubuthi wa-l-khabaa’ithi
Translation: In the name of Allah. O Allah! I seek refuge in you from the foul male and female devils.
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ. اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعُوذُبِكَ مِنَ الْخُبُثِ وَ الْخَبَاءِثِ
Ghufraana-ka, Al-hamdu li-Llaahi-l-Ladhi Adhaba anni-l-Adhaa wa-afaani
Translation: Your pardon O Allah! Praise be to Allah Who caused harm to go away and gave me relief.
غُفْرَانَكَ، اَلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَذْهَبَ عَنِّي الأَذَىٰ وَعَافَانِي
Allahumma iftah li abwaaba Rahmati-ka
O Allah! Open for me doors of Your Mercy.
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Allahumma iftah li abwaaba Rahmati-ka
O Allah! Open for me doors of Your Mercy.
اللَّهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي أَبْوابَ رَحْمَتِكَ
Bismillah, tawakkaltu ala Allahi, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah
In the Name of Allah, I rely on Allah, and there is no might or power except that (allowed) by Allah.
بِسْمِ اللهِ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلَىٰ اللهِ، وَ لَا حَولَ وَ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ
As’alu-Llaha-l- Azima Rabba-l-Arshi un yushfik
I ask Allah, the Al-Mighty, Lord of the Throne, to cure you.
أَسْأَلُ اللهَ الْعَظِيمَ رَبِّ الْعَرْشِ أَنْ يَشْفِيكَ
Al-hamdu li-Llahi ala kulli Haal
Praise be to Allah under all circumstances.
اَلْحَمْدُ لِله عَلٰى كُلِّ حَالٍ
Yarhamu-ka Allah
May Allah have Mercy on you.
